It's a Genetic thing!

After the genetic tests confirmed Jayden had CPVT, his father and sister began the testing process. This week, it was confirmed that Jayden inherited his condition from his father. His sister tested negative but, will need to be on the watch in the future should she have children. Dad will see a cardiologist soon and have a stress test done to determine a medicine regimen that will help keep his heart rhythm in check.

Now that we know where his condition is stemming from, we are working with family members to determine the origin and ensure all those possibly effected by the condition are notified and given instructions on how to proceed with testing. CPVT and other SADS conditions are life threatening and should be monitored by a cardiologist. All family members in the realm of inheritance should consider genetic testing for their own health and well-being.
